Vector Analysis

This assignment consisted of analyzing the density and dispersion of trees in Utrecht using ArcGIS. I used data from the Gemeente Utrecht , the municipality, focusing on the species Fraxinus (ash tree). By adding a "trees per area" criterion, I found that the neighborhood with the most of this type of tree is Vleuten-De Meern. Next, I conducted a Kernel Density Analysis to observe the overall density of trees throughout Utrecht. One significant observation was the presence of a tree belt around the city, located between the center and the main highway. This tree belt aims to reduce air and noise pollution.
